Job summary

Bridgewell in Massachusetts seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in daily living across residential and community settings. You will provide skills training, supervision, and support to promote independence and safety.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, following regulatory standards, administering medications as applicable, and collaborating with guardians and staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft products and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with daily living skills across day, evening, or overnight hours.
• Foster independence by creating opportunities for decision-making.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in service delivery.
• Support medical, clinical, and financial needs of people in services.
• Transport and accompany individuals to activities outside the program.
• Maintain progress notes, checklists, and shift documentation.
• Perform household duties and conduct steady care calls for overnight shifts.
• Assist with community access and resource opportunities.
