Job summary

MedScope is seeking field technicians/installers for a 1099 independent contractor role. You will coordinate appointments, perform installation, testing, and education of PERS devices in clients' homes, and maintain records of each visit. Travel is required, and compensation is paid per trip with mileage tiers.

Installers set their availability, work with members and caregivers, and must pass background checks and training. Strong communication and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a vehicle and provide valid driver’s license, registration and auto insurance documentation.
• Willing to complete background checks and training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working email address and smartphone with voicemail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients.
• Deliver, set up and test personal emergency response equipment in clients’ homes.
• Educate clients/caregivers on device usage and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls in company software.
• Obtain signatures via DocuSign and comply with safety/regulatory requirements.
