Job summary

MedScope is seeking field technicians/installers to perform in-home setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment. You will coordinate with clients and caregivers, schedule appointments, and ensure equipment is installed per SLA expectations.

You will educate users on device usage and features, troubleshoot issues on-site, and maintain detailed records using company software. Valid driver’s license, vehicle, and ability to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a vehicle and provide valid driver's license, registration and auto insurance.
• Willing to complete background checks and training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working email address and smartphone with voicemail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently.
• Commitment to meeting/exceeding service level requirements.
• Field technician/cable/alarm installation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients.
• Delivery, initial setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment in clients’ homes.
• Educate clients/caregivers on device usage, features and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls and client interactions using company software.
• Collaborate with member support and installer coordinators to provide seamless support to members.
• Obtain signatures via Docusign on all required paperwork during installation appointments.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, regulatory requirements and company policies during installations.
