Job summary

MedScope Installation seeks field technicians to install and commission PERS devices in clients’ homes as 1099 contractors. You set your own availability, and jobs are assigned with SLA-driven timeframes. Tasks include delivery, setup, testing, and client training, plus documentation of installations and communications with support teams.

Regular travel to member homes is required. The role emphasizes safety, proper paperwork via DocuSign, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Must have a vehicle and provide valid driver's license, registration and auto insurance documentation.
• Willing to complete background checks and training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working email address, smartphone with voicemail and basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently.
• Commitment to meeting/exceeding service level requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients.
• Delivery, initial setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment in clients’ homes.
• Educate clients/caregivers on device usage, features and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls and client interactions using company software.
• Collaborate with member support and installer coordinators to provide seamless support to members.
• Obtain signatures via Docusign on all required paperwork during installation appointments.
• Adhere to safety protocols, regulatory requirements and company policies during installations.
