Job summary

MedScope is seeking Field Technician/Installer contractors to support home-based installations of personal emergency response equipment. This 1099 role offers flexible scheduling, with pay per trip based on mileage rather than hourly pay.

You set your availability and capacity, and installations are scheduled accordingly across assigned routes. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently in members' homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a vehicle and provide valid driver's license, registration and auto insurance documentation.
• Willingness to complete background checks and training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Working email address and smartphone with voicemail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointment scheduling directly with clients.
• Delivery, initial setup and testing of personal emergency response equipment in clients’ homes.
• Educate clients/caregivers on device usage, features and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls in company software.
• Collaborate with member support and installer coordinators to provide seamless support to members.
• Obtain signatures via Docusign on all required paperwork during installation appointments.
• Adhere to safety protocols, regulatory requirements and company policies during installations.
