Job summary

Preferred Reports is seeking experienced Commercial Lines Loss Control Consultants to become approved vendors. You will conduct loss control inspections and consultative visits within your coverage area, reporting through a cloud-based system.

This contract-based work is paid per inspection with fees set in advance. Vendors work independently and are paid weekly upon satisfactory order completion. Bi-lingual is a plus; you must have your own equipment and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience completing property and/or casualty lines insurance loss control surveys and reports.
• Understanding of general liability and property lines of coverage.
• Ability to work quickly and meet hard due dates with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone calls.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify hazards/controls and document findings.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property.
• Upload report/photos through a cloud-based system by the deadline.
