Job summary

Underwriter Services Association is seeking experienced Commercial Lines Loss Control Consultants to be approved vendors for insurance loss control inspections. These contractors work independently, are paid per inspection, and reports are submitted via a cloud system.

Bi-lingual is a plus, background checks are required, and travel across a broad territory is expected. Appointments are scheduled at mutual convenience, with weekly payments upon satisfactory completion.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience completing property and/or casualty lines insurance loss control surveys and reports.
• Understanding of general liability and property coverage.
• Willingness to travel and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email or phone.
• Complete on-site property inspections as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls found at the property.
• Conduct on-site management interviews as required.
• Upload report and photos through a cloud-based system by the deadline.
