Job summary

Preferred Reports is seeking experienced Commercial Loss Control Consultants to serve as approved vendors for property and casualty loss inspections. You will work independently as a contractor, conducting inspections and producing detailed reports using a cloud-based system.

Bi-lingual is a plus and reports are reviewed and paid weekly after order completion. Vendors provide their own equipment and transportation and must maintain a current resume along with background checks.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience completing property and/or casualty lines insurance loss control surveys and reports.
• Understanding of general liability and property lines of coverage.
• Own a computer with Windows 10 and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Set site inspection appointments with insured/agent via email and/or phone.
• Complete physical inspections of properties as required by the carrier.
• Take clear digital photos of properties.
• Identify and document hazards/controls found at the property.
• Complete on-site management interviews regarding the property, as required.
• Upload report/photos through a cloud-based system by the specified deadline.
