Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree and valid MA teaching license for Moderate Disabilities.
• Endorsement in SEI or ESL required for the role.
• Fully licensed and Highly Qualified according to state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement district goals aligned with state frameworks and assess student progress.
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays within the general curriculum.
• Develop and monitor IEP goals, with regular progress reporting.
• Offer accommodations and curriculum adaptations; prepare for MCAS Alternative Assessment as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to modify instruction and support student needs.
• Assist with transitions to adult living services when appropriate.
