Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and MA teaching license in Moderate Disabilities.
• SEI endorsement or ESL license required.
• Ability to meet state and federal guidelines for licensing and Highly Qualified status.

Responsibilities

• Implement district learning goals aligned with state frameworks and identify access points for student portfolio development.
• Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
• Write and implement IEP goals and provide timely progress reports.
• Provide accommodations for learning and testing; develop curriculum when needed and analyze student work for MCAS Alternative Assessment progress.
• Collaborate with staff to respond to student needs and support modifications.
• Assist with transition to adult living services as appropriate.
