Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking an Instructional Aide to assist students in both in-class and virtual settings. The role supports teachers, reinforces learning, and helps manage behavior in a safe classroom environment.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week on a 12-month calendar, with pay at $20.00–$24.00 per hour and enhanced summer break compensation, aiming for competitive annual remuneration.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management and behavior support mindset

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in small groups or one-to-one.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe classroom environment.
• Prepare instructional materials and set up equipment for activities.
• Assist in creating curriculum modifications for students.
• Provide testing accommodations for assessments.
• Review and provide feedback on student work.
• Support behavior intervention plans and positive reinforcement strategies.
• Foster positive relationships among students with disabilities and peers.
• Support students on field trips and community activities.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
