Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California in Stockton is seeking an Instructional Aide to support students in core academic and special education settings, both in person and online. You will tutor in small groups or 1:1, help implement behavior plans, prepare materials, and assist with accommodations.

Requires high school diploma and/or 48 college units or ETS ParaPro, with preference for bilinguals. We offer 12-month pay including breaks and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further college credits preferred.
• A.A. or higher degree or 48 college units; ParaPro may be required.
• Commitment to KIPP mission and anti-racist, inclusive teaching.

Responsibilities

• Tutor small groups or 1:1 to reinforce core academics and language skills.
• Assist in creating and implementing behavior plans and accommodations.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with assessments during class and remote learning.
• Support students’ social interaction and collaboration with peers.
