Job summary

Caddo Parish Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional-Inclusion/Resource/Self-Contained to support students with disabilities across elementary and secondary settings. You will assist teachers, implement plans, monitor progress, and help with behavior supports.

This role requires lifting and positioning, attendance at health plans, and collaboration with staff. Work environment is fast-paced with 170-day term. Training and confidentiality required under FERPA.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass required paraprofessional assessment or hold higher education credits.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support students with disabilities in all educational settings.
• Implement instructional plans with classroom teachers.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide strategies for positive behavior supports.
• Assist with health plans and lifting/positioning when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality under FERPA.
