Job summary

Caddo Parish Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional-Inclusion/Resource/Self-Contained to support students with disabilities in elementary and secondary settings. You will work under the classroom teacher to implement instructional plans and monitor student progress.

The role requires collaboration with staff, adherence to safety and privacy rules, and the ability to assist with health plans and assistive technology as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have earned a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Associate degree or higher (official transcripts required).
• 48 hours of college with six hours of Math and nine hours of English (official transcripts required).

Responsibilities

• Works with students with disabilities in all educational settings to provide instructional support.
• Implements the instructional plan with the classroom teacher and monitors progress.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information per FERPA.
• Assists in supervision of study areas, cafeterias, halls, and bus loading areas as applicable.
• Supports use of computer applications and assistive technology.
