Job summary

Caddo Parish Schools is seeking a Paraprofessional-Inclusion/Resource/Self-Contained to support students with disabilities across elementary and secondary settings. You will implement instructional plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers to adapt strategies for Individual Education Programs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus one of several approved education paths, including an assessment score or college hours.

Qualifications

• Must have earned a high school diploma or its equivalent and meet one of the additional requirements listed.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; write routine reports and communicate effectively.
• Experience supporting students with disabilities in educational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with students with disabilities in various settings to provide instructional support.
• Implements the classroom plan and adjusts it based on student needs.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information and progress.
• Assists in supervision of study areas, cafeterias, halls and bus loading as applicable.
• Performs non-complex health procedures and assists with health plans as prescribed.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Teacher/paraprofessional assessment 450+

Associate degree or higher

48 college hours with 6 Math and 9 English
