Job summary

Caddo Parish School District seeks a Paraprofessional-Inclusion/Resource/Self-Contained to support students with disabilities in elementary and secondary classrooms. You will work under the supervision of teachers to implement instructional plans and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, assisting with adaptive technologies, and enforcing positive behavior supports.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent and must meet one of the additional requirements below.
• Ability to read, write and present information to groups and parents.
• Lifting and positioning of students as required.

Responsibilities

• Works with students with disabilities in all educational settings to provide instructional support.
• Implements the instructional plan with the classroom teacher and adjusts as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information and progress.
