Job summary

The role can reside in New York or Washington, DC with hybrid work capabilities and will oversee the firm’s opportunity & inclusion initiatives, including supporting the firmwide committee, local councils, and resource groups, and managing the Inclusion Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years related experience in a law firm, government agency, or professional services organization.
• Marketing and communications experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Excellent written and oral communication and client service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee tasks and duties related to internal and external opportunity & inclusion initiatives.
• Prepare initial drafts for Director’s review and approval of inclusion-related communications, reports and surveys requiring quantitative and qualitative research, analysis and evaluation.
• Apprise Director of Inclusion of current issues and potential problems as they develop.
• Manage and participate in firmwide Opportunity & Inclusion Committee and office Opportunity & Inclusion Council meetings; oversee agendas and summaries.
• Provide support to Firmwide Resource Groups in development and execution of events and initiatives.
• Oversee collection and preparation of inclusion-related statistical information for firmwide reports and RFPs.
• Coordinate with other departments on inclusion initiatives including training, sponsorships, surveys, and benchmarking.
