YES Prep in Houston is seeking a Special Education Inclusion Teacher for a 10-month contract. The role involves writing precise IEPs, delivering rigorous, differentiated lessons, and maintaining proactive communication with families.

You will collaborate with leaders and content teams, participate in ongoing professional development, and contribute to a supportive, high-performing school culture focused on student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Texas Educator Certification in Special Education, or willingness to join ACP to get certified in the first year.
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology.
• Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Write accurate, aligned, data-driven IEPs for students on your caseload.
• Develop rigorous lessons in content areas for 1:1 blended learning environments.
• Set ambitious goals with students and monitor progress with feedback.
• Track student growth and adjust plans with coaches’ input.
• Communicate regularly with parents via phone, video, email, or parent portal.
