Job summary

YES Prep Public Schools in Houston, TX seeks an Elementary Bilingual Special Education Manager (11-month). Lead a team of SPED teachers, ensure services follow IEPs, and uphold compliance within campus leadership.

This role drives instructional excellence and collaboration across General and Special Education settings. You will coach teachers, align curriculum with standards, and monitor student progress toward IEP goals, fostering an inclusive, rigorous learning environment for diverse learners

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and Texas licensure for Special Education.
• Bilingual (Spanish) and bilingual certification within the first school year are required.
• Experience in leading Special Education teams and implementing IEPs across settings.
• Strong understanding of compliance timelines and district/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Special Education teachers to implement IEPs and ensure compliant service delivery.
• Collaborate with campus leadership to design and deliver rigorous, inclusive instruction.
• Monitor progress toward IEP goals and coordinate with general education for curriculum alignment.
• Plan and deliver professional development on differentiation and inclusive practices.
• Support behavioral and life-skills instruction through data-driven planning.
