Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college
• Texas Educator Certification in Special Education, or willing to join ACP to get certified in first year
• Strong ability to navigate web-related applications and technology
• Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms

Responsibilities

• Writing accurate, aligned, data-driven IEPs for students on your caseload
• Developing rigorous lessons in your content area for 1:1 blended learning environments to support college readiness
• Setting ambitious goals with students and monitoring progress with regular feedback
• Tracking student growth and using data and coaching feedback to create growth plans
• Communicating regularly with families via phone, email, or video conference
