Job summary

Health & Human Services Comm in El Paso, TX is seeking an Incident Management Coordinator to oversee the hospital’s incident management process. You will review investigations, monitor remedial actions, and provide data analysis to support performance improvement in a complex healthcare setting.

The role requires strong investigative methods, data handling, and policy development skills, with collaboration across Quality Management, Rights Protection, Risk Management, and leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (social work, sociology, psychology, or nursing) is required.
• Four years of experience in social work, sociology, psychology, or nursing.
• At least three years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attends work on regular basis with possible shift variations.
• Provides data management support: enters incident data, tracks incidents, and informs leadership.
• Documents preliminary review of incidents in data systems and supports plans of correction.
• Develops and revises incident management policies to meet JC, CMS, and legal requirements.
• Reviews data related to incidents, identifies trends, and tracks corrective actions.
• Performs other duties including disaster response and COOP participation.
