Job summary

Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) seeks an Incident Management Coordinator to lead the hospital’s incident management process, review ANE cases, protect patient rights, and coordinate across Quality Management, Rights Protection, Risk Management and leadership. This role ensures timely protective actions and robust documentation.

The IMC analyzes incident data, reviews investigations, and supports policy updates to meet JC and CMS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, nursing, psychology or related field.
• Experience reviewing investigations and tracking remedial actions.
• Ability to analyze incident data and prepare clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Attends regular shifts and supports incident management processes.
• Gathers incident information and tracks cases to resolution.
• Reviews data for accuracy and trend analysis to improve performance.
