Job summary

Cardinal Health in Whitestown, NY seeks an Inbound Manager, Warehouse Operations (1st shift inbound) to lead a high-volume distribution center. You'll coach hourly teams, drive safety and quality, manage staffing and performance metrics, and partner with cross-functional groups to ensure on-time, accurate inbound receiving and ready-to-ship inventory.

This role requires strategic staffing, lean process improvement, and hands-on leadership on the warehouse floor to sustain Cardinal Health’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent.
• Six or more years of experience in operations, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment, or warehouse operations.
• Experience leading, supervising, coaching, or managing employees in a fast-paced operational setting.
• Experience using performance metrics, dashboards, and data to drive decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop hourly associates, supervisors, and staff to meet safety, quality, service, and productivity goals.
• Promote safety culture through training, accountability, and risk reduction.
• Manage daily operations, staffing, workflow, inventory accuracy, and delivery expectations.
• Build staffing plans based on forecasted volume and resources.
• Monitor KPIs and drive data-informed decisions; partner with cross-functional teams.
