Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations in a high-volume distribution center in Whitestown, IN. You will oversee material handling, warehousing, and labor planning while driving safety, quality and efficiency through data-driven decisions.

You will partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to align resources, resolve issues, and foster a high-performing culture focused on operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent.
• Six or more years of experience in operations, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment, or warehousing.
• Experience leading, supervising, coaching, or managing employees in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to use performance metrics and dashboards to drive decisions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory standards in operations.
• Willingness to work varied shifts and schedule flexibility.
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods in a distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop hourly associates and supervisors to meet safety, quality, service, productivity, and engagement goals.
• Promote safety-first culture through training and accountability.
• Manage daily operational execution including workflow prioritization and inventory accuracy.
• Build and execute staffing plans based on forecasted volume.
• Monitor KPIs to identify trends and drive data-informed decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet site objectives.
• Identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and process mapping.
• Support talent lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Communicate priorities and project updates across teams.
