Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Operations Manager for its Whitestown, IN distribution center. You will lead day-to-day warehouse operations, drive performance, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery across multiple shifts.

You will partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize staffing, implement Lean practices, and monitor KPIs to sustain superior service levels and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• Six+ years of experience in operations or warehouse environments.
• Experience leading teams and using performance metrics to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop hourly associates, supervisors, and operations staff to meet safety, quality, service, and productivity targets.
• Promote a safety-first culture through training, accountability, and standard work.
• Manage daily execution, prioritize workload, ensure inventory accuracy, and meet delivery expectations.
• Build staffing plans based on forecasted volume and available resources.
• Monitor KPIs to identify trends and drive data-informed decisions.
