Job summary

SelectQuote, Inc. is seeking a confident Sales Qualification Associate to be the first sales contact for inbound prospects and guide them toward a licensed agent. You will understand customer needs, communicate the value proposition, and qualify customers for transfer to a licensed insurance agent.

This is an unlicensed, high-volume role conducted remotely, requiring strong communication, resilience, and the ability to meet transfer and performance goals through coaching and scripted processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle objections and stay coachable.
• Comfortable with high-volume inbound calls.
• Unlicensed role; no insurance license needed.
• Previous sales or call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, averaging ~200 per day.
• Explain value proposition and qualify customers for transfer.
• Build rapport and determine customer needs.
• Adhere to scripted processes while keeping conversations natural.
• Meet or exceed transfer goals and KPIs.
• Open to coaching and apply feedback.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment.
