SelectQuote is seeking a confident Sales Qualification Associate to join our Qualifications Team. You will handle inbound calls, qualify customers for transfer to licensed agents, and meet strict performance metrics in a high-volume environment.

The role is unlicensed and not a traditional customer service position; success depends on communication, objection handling, and the ability to work toward measurable goals while staying coachable and resilient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal communication, active listening, and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and conversationally over the phone.
• Ability to think on your feet and respond to customer concerns.
• Comfortable handling rejection and overcoming objections.
• Competitive, goal-oriented mindset with measurable results.
• Previous sales/call center/customer-facing experience preferred.
• Prepared to explain employment gaps or frequent transitions.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls, averaging ~200 calls per day.
• Create an energetic, professional customer experience.
• Build rapport and understand customer needs.
• Explain value proposition and qualify customers for transfer.
• Overcome objections to move customers forward.
• Follow scripted conversations while staying natural.
• Meet or exceed transfer goals and KPIs.
• Adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
