SelectQuote is seeking confident, competitive, and coachable individuals for the Sales Qualification Associate role. You will engage primarily with inbound prospects, understand needs, and qualify customers for transfer to a licensed insurance agent.

This is an unlicensed sales position with high-volume, performance-driven expectations. You will be part of a fast-paced team focused on measurable goals, with opportunities to advance into additional sales roles for high performers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal communication, active listening, and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and conversationally over the phone.
• Ability to think on your feet and respond to customer concerns.
• Comfortable handling rejection and overcoming objections.
• Competitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by measurable results.
• Previous sales, call center, inside sales, or other performance-based customer-facing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated reliability and consistent employment history preferred.
• Prepared to explain significant employment gaps or frequent transitions.
• Current insurance licenses are not eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and provide a confident, professional customer experience.
• Build rapport and understand customer needs to qualify for transfer.
• Explain value proposition and move customers toward licensed agents.
• Overcome objections and maintain engaging, scripted conversations without sounding scripted.
• Meet or exceed transfer goals and KPIs.
• Be coachable and apply feedback to improve performance.
