Job summary

Target is hiring an Inbound Operations Team Leader to drive guest service excellence and daily store operations. You will lead hourly teammates, coach performance, and coordinate workload to meet sales priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include training and supervising team members, reviewing metrics, and ensuring product availability. A high school degree and strong communication are required; prior retail experience is a plus, with a flexible, customer-first

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Age 18 or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Remain focused in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure every team member is trained and delivers on guest experience commitments.
• Observe and provide feedback, and hold team members accountable.
• Review area metrics to identify gaps and take action to improve outcomes.
• Understand sales goals and plan workload to meet priorities.
• Lead and share expertise in operations, freshness, accuracy and efficiency.
• Establish goals with direct leader and monitor expectations.
• Assign daily tasks to team members based on workload and traffic patterns.
• Ensure product is available for purchase and support change management.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and Drive Up while maintaining compliance.
