Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks an Inbound Operations Manager to oversee strategic inbound processes at the distribution center. You will align inbound teams with safety, compliance, and performance goals while promoting engagement and proactive problem solving.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will drive scheduling, unloading, receiving, stocking, and asset protection, while collaborating with cross-functional leaders to control costs and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a distribution center or similar environment.
• 1+ year in a managerial role and/or leading teams.
• Ability to motivate a team toward problem-solving and improvement.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics software (WMS/ERP).
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Commitment to high integrity, professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GM/AGM to implement strategies for efficiency.
• Manage inbound operations performance and troubleshoot as needed.
• Oversee scheduling, unloading, receiving, stocking, and housekeeping.
• Uphold safety rules and promote a safe work environment.
• Train and develop employees to maximize efficiency.
• Resolve supplier/customer inquiries and escalations as needed.
• Work cross-functionally to investigate inbound receiving errors.
• Protect assets and ensure receipts for all merchandise.
• Contribute to budget planning and cost-saving initiatives.
