Job summary

WSECU is seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Officer – Internal to join our Residential Lending team. You will partner with branch staff to guide members through the mortgage process, manage inbound opportunities, and deliver compliant loan solutions while building lasting relationships that reflect WSECU’s Brand Promise.

You will originate loans, maintain a robust pipeline, stay current on products and trends, and participate in meetings and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of mortgage loan origination experience.
• Familiarity with FHA/VA requirements.
• College degree in business or related field preferred; related experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Originating mortgage loans within assigned branches.
• Build relationships with branch staff and partners to drive referrals.
• Pricing, structuring, and disclosing loans in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Meet or exceed individual production and service goals.
• Deliver exceptional member experience and ensure timely loan closings.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and accurate loan packages.
• Maintain NMLS licensing and stay current on mortgage trends.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and community initiatives.
• Support branch operations and staff through huddles and coverage.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
