Job summary

WSECU is seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Officer - Internal to join our Residential Lending team. You’ll partner with branch staff to serve members’ home financing needs, guiding them through the mortgage process with expertise and care, while managing a strong inbound pipeline and delivering compliant loan solutions.

You’ll stay current on industry trends and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely closings and an exceptional member experience across Spokane and Yakima branches.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan origination experience.
• Familiarity with FHA/VA requirements.
• College degree preferred; related experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans by promoting and delivering products to members and prospective members.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with branch staff and partners.
• Price, structure, and disclose loans compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Meet or exceed individual production and service goals.
• Deliver an exceptional member experience with timely, high-quality loan closings.
• Manage a pipeline of loans with complete, accurate loan packages.
