Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU) is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer - Internal to join our Residential Lending team. You will originate mortgage loans, cultivate strong relationships with branches, and ensure compliant, timely closings while meeting production goals.

You will stay current on FHA/VA requirements and industry trends, with a focus on delivering exceptional member experiences and coordinating with internal teams to provide tailored home financing solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of mortgage loan origination experience, including FHA/VA familiarity.
• College degree preferred; related experience may substitute for academic achievement.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans by promoting WSECU’s mortgage and home equity products within branches.
• Build strong relationships with branch staff and partners to drive internal referrals.
• Price, structure, and disclose loans accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Meet or exceed individual production and service goals.
• Deliver an exceptional member experience with proactive communication and timely closings.
• Maintain pipeline, submit complete loan packages, and stay current on products and trends.
