Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts in Omaha is seeking an Inbound Operations Supervisor who leads receiving freight and stocking activities. Reporting to the Inbound Operations Manager, you will design efficient methods to schedule and receive loads on time, reconcile paperwork, and stock sellable parts.

You will also guide inbound teams to sort, stock, and reconcile products with a focus on accuracy and safety. The role emphasizes engagement, empowerment, and problem‑solving while coordinating with DC management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years in a distribution center or similar environment.
• Ability to comply with all safety requirements pertaining to job functions and general distribution center safety requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and implement functions of efficient inbound operations by instructing employees how to perform work, monitoring progress, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Design and maintain organization of inbound freight (scheduling and unloading), receiving dock, stocking activities, housekeeping, and maintenance areas and protocols.
• Drive adherence to safety rules and regulations, ensuring a safe environment for employees including receiving, stocking and customer return procedures.
• Proactively maintains awareness of budget planning and enforces cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Supervise and provide leadership to warehouse associates, promoting engagement and empowerment to solve problems and make good operational decisions.
• Work with other DC management to investigate and resolve receiving errors; address errors with team to mitigate future issues.
• Schedule team hours to ensure peak period coverage and efficiency.
• Protect company assets ensuring all equipment is used and maintained, buildings opened and secured daily, and receipts collected.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement process improvements.
• Foster a culture of engagement and empowerment, mentor team members, and facilitate problem-solving and decision-making to drive operational success.
• Responsible for efficient and accurate methods of processing all new freight, and supervise put away procedures for incoming freight and customer returns.
• Oversee reconciliation of received loads each day to ensure proper receiving of product.
