Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to process and resolve customer service requests in a timely and accurate manner, with empathy and professionalism.

This role handles inbound calls, inputs data into company systems, and may involve cross-functional collaboration. A HS diploma or GED, 1 year in a call center, and bilingual skills are preferred. Salary is $19-$20 per hour, with weekend hours included.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledge of waste management industry preferred.
• Experience using bilingual skills in a business environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely and accurate solutions for customer service requests.
• Responds to inbound calls and initiates outbound calls as needed.
• Inputs standard customer requests into company systems.
• Responds to initial customer requests and may involve cross-functional assistance to resolve issues.
• Records information about customer interactions in company systems.
• Enters service and route data for billing and route scheduling.
• Maintains high levels of quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
