Job summary

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is seeking an In Suite Dining Sales Agent to provide exceptional personalized service, coordinate in-room dining, and deliver amenities to guests. You will work per The Venetian standards, manage guest requests, and ensure accurate order processing and guest data recording.

Responsibilities include answering calls, taking and relaying orders via Micros, and collaborating with ISD for timely service while upholding safety and service guidelines for a premium guest

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card and Food Handler’s Card.
• Minimum 2 years of service experience in a first class hotel, casino, restaurant or related hospitality area.
• Advanced understanding of food and beverage products including wine and spirits knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience with point of sale equipment and/or computers.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
• Speak one additional language in addition to English.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phones according to Venetian standards and greet guests per script.
• Take orders correctly and enter them into Micros; contact ISD for service.
• Maintain driver’s licenses and boards with arrivals/departures.
• Respond to guest requests and research answers when needed.
• Adhere to Unmatched Service Standards.
• Record data into guest profiles as needed.
• Deliver and refresh all amenities.
• Monitor equipment handling and safe lifting techniques.
• Operate Micros to order food and beverages.
