Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax Retail Experts to work on-site at TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software support to customers in person, helping them maximize refunds and understand their tax options. You will also act as a local ambassador, grow the client base, and collaborate with marketing to make taxes approachable in the community.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail/flagship location, Sunday–Saturday, 20+ hours per week.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.
• Willing to wear TurboTax uniform and work in front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and engaging with prospects to convert them into long-term clients.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for a range of tax situations using TurboTax tools.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience, building trust and helping clients achieve financial goals, via in-person and video interactions.
