Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent for our Aventura, Florida store to be the first point of contact for customers needing technology help. You’ll assess needs, perform basic services and collaborate with colleagues on more complex repairs.

You’ll deliver friendly, knowledgeable service, help set up new devices, and provide accurate time estimates while maintaining a flexible schedule that includes holidays, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Comfort with technology and helping customers with devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement decisions.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through training and certifications.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
