Job summary

Best Buy Memphis store is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support, helping customers with setup, repair vs replace decisions, and ongoing support. You will work with fellow agents to resolve issues and maintain up-to-date knowledge through ongoing training.

This role requires a customer-service mindset, 3 months retail experience, and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement options.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
