Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Retail Expert to support customers at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States. You will perform in-person tax preparation, provide tax advice, and assist clients with deductions and planning, while growing the local client base.

The role requires onsite work, tax credentials (EA/CPA/attorney preferred), and a customer-oriented approach within a retail setting. Uniforms, community outreach, and collaboration with TurboTax teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license preferred.
• Active PTIN required for tax filing.
• Must possess or obtain state licenses or permits as needed.
• Minimum 3 years of paid tax return preparation (Fed/State 1040s).
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to work onsite at TurboTax location 20+ hours/week.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Customer-facing retail experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete simple to complex returns.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax planning with clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and build local client relationships.
• Leverage TurboTax marketing support to grow the client base.
