Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as TurboTax Retail Experts at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location in the United States.

You will provide in-person tax return preparation, advice, and product support to customers, acting as a trusted advisor to improve financial outcomes. The role requires onsite presence, with responsibilities ranging from community outreach and marketing to high‑quality tax expertise and customer service.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred.
• Have an active PTIN as required by law to file taxes.
• Must possess or be able to obtain State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season with professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must work onsite at a TurboTax location, Sunday through Saturday, for at least 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Willing to wear a TurboTax uniform and work in a front-facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Be a proactive community ambassador, representing TurboTax locally and acting as a public face.
• Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Lead and participate in local marketing to make taxes accessible.
• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers.
• Handle simple to complex tax situations and perform deductions optimization.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Utilize government resources and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and genuine care.
