Job summary

Buckle is seeking a Seamstress/Tailor in our Mebane, NC store to fulfill our mission of creating the most enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests through quality alterations. You will hem jeans and pants, measure and mark alteration lines, and use our sewing machines to finish the work with care.

The role requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, attention to detail, and a customer-friendly approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related sewing, fitting, and alteration experience.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive sewing tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow ticket instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on Guest specifications
• Accommodate Guests with on the spot alterations when requested by Store Leaders
• Meet deadlines and Guest expectations for merchandise alterations
• Use Buckle provided sewing machine and supplies to perform alterations
• Record all work and follow through on the alteration log
• Maintain a clean, organized and stocked work area and inform a Leader when additional supplies are needed
