Buckle in Gainesville, FL is seeking a part-time Seamstress/Tailor to support alterations for our guests, including hemming jeans and pants, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. You will operate the Buckle sewing machine, follow guest specifications, meet alteration deadlines, and contribute to a clean, productive store floor.

This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adherence to Buckle's policies while accommodating seasonal scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related sewing and alteration experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on Guest specifications.
• Accommodate Guests with on-the-spot alterations when requested by Store Leaders.
• Meet deadlines and Guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
• Use Buckle provided sewing machine and supplies to perform alterations.
• Record all work and follow through on the alteration log.
