Job summary

Buckle is opening a brand-new store at the Carolina Premium Outlets in Smithfield, NC and seeks a dedicated Seamstress/Tailor to support alterations and guest service. The role includes hemming jeans and pants and delivering an enjoyable shopping experience for guests.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, and sewing/alteration experience or training. Flexible hours with part-time benefits are offered during seasonal peaks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related sewing, fitting, and alteration experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Measure and mark alteration lines and use the sewing machine to complete alterations.
• Accommodate guests with on-the-spot alterations as requested by store leaders.
• Meet deadlines and guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked work area.
