Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Seamstress/Tailor in Canton, Ohio to support alterations in-store, including hemming jeans and pants, while delivering the best possible guest experience. The role emphasizes quality alterations, accurate ticket-driven work, and a flexible schedule in a busy retail environment.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and some sewing/alteration experience. The position includes part-time hours, a teammate discount, and opportunities for performance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related sewing, fitting, and alteration experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on Guest specifications.
• Accommodate Guests with on-the-spot alterations when requested by Store Leaders.
• Meet deadlines and Guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
• Record all work and follow through on the alteration log.
• Maintain a clean, organized and stocked work area.
