Job summary

Buckle is seeking a part-time Seamstress/Tailor to perform alterations and hemming for our guests. You will work at the store, using Buckle’s sewing equipment to complete alterations according to guest specifications and ticket instructions.

The role requires basic sewing experience (1–3 months preferred) and a high school diploma or GED. You must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related sewing/alteration experience or training may be substituted.
• Experience with hemming and alterations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on Guest specifications.
• Accommodate Guests with on-the-spot alterations when requested by Store Leaders.
• Meet deadlines and Guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
• Use Buckle provided sewing machine and supplies to perform alterations.
• Record all work and follow through on the alteration log.
• Maintain a clean, organized and stocked work area.
