Job summary

Buckle is seeking a part-time Seamstress/Tailor in Owensboro, KY to fulfill alterations for guests and merchandise. You will measure, mark, hem jeans/pants, and perform on-demand alterations to meet guest specifications while maintaining a clean, efficient workspace.

The role emphasizes quality service, flexibility in schedule including busy holiday periods, and adherence to Buckle’s policies and ethics. Applicants must be 18 or older and have sewing experience or a related background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related sewing/alteration experience.
• Experience with altering clothing and measuring; ability to follow instructions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality alterations.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality alterations on merchandise at store location.
• Follow ticket instructions and markings based on Guest specifications.
• Accommodate Guests with on the spot alterations when requested by Store Leaders.
• Meet deadlines and Guest expectations for merchandise alterations.
• Uphold specified productivity guidelines, generally four jean alterations per hour.
• Maintain a clean, organized and stocked work area; inform leadership when supplies are needed.
