General Mills is hiring a Retail Sales Representative in Missoula, MT to drive field selling, in-store merchandising, and distribution across the local territory.

You will work with store managers, use tablets and Microsoft Office tools, and represent the brand to grow sales while meeting company priorities. The role requires living within 30 miles of Missoula and willingness to relocate if needed.

Qualifications

• Must live within 30 miles of Missoula, MT area or relocate within 30 days.
• Proven passion to sell and represent General Mills brands.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience with tablets, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication with internal and external partners.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maximize incremental sales and displays based on in-store observations and selling into key decision makers.
• Deliver sales results with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Develop partnerships with key decision makers within the territory to overcome objections and maximize sales.
• Prepare for retail calls by gathering store, product, and market data for effective presentations.
