Job summary

Michaels in O'Fallon, MO is hiring a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-stock merchandise while upholding store recovery standards.

The role supports omni-channel goals including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store, with cross-training in Custom Framing.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as needed

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Maintain merchandise and recover stock and go-back process to ensure well-merchandised stores
• Support Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote positive image
