Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a storefront team member in Chesterfield, MO to help customers, process transactions, and support store operations. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and merchandising, while promoting the rewards program and framing services.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, accuracy, and teamwork in a busy retail environment. The position requires standing for long periods and ability to lift, with opportunities for growth and benefits as part of The Michaels

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout; perform cash handling to standards.
• Promote Michaels Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with omnichannel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties.
• Complete merchandise recovery and store recovery; handle returns.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Follow SOPs and company policies; maintain respectful interactions.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
